🎨 Inkchord — draw the music
Draw with your mouse, finger, or stylus. The painting loops forever as generative background music — pitch = height, color = timbre, opacity = velocity.
Hold number keys 1–5 while moving the mouse to draw with up to five extra "finger" cursors offset from your pointer, inspired by multi-finger cursor research — the keyboard stands in for fingers on a touch surface.
Touch the canvas with several fingers at once — every touch point draws independently with its own slowly drifting color and width.
Right-click-drag with the mouse erases temporarily, regardless of the current mode.
Space toggles Draw/Erase. Ctrl/Cmd+Z undoes the last stroke.
Play the on-screen piano (or keys A W S E D F T G Y H U J K) and drum pads (Z X C V B) live — they sound instantly, on top of the painting's music.
Open Song Studio for a finite, composed mode: sequence drums, record loops from your live playing, arrange them on a timeline, and play a song that actually ends.
